Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to rise and keep your eyes fixated on the reason for the season.

Keep your eyes on the One who came from heaven to earth to reconcile us back to relationship with God so that we could be in His Presence.

He made a way for us to draw near to Him and be in close relationship with Him. He couldn’t stand for us to be apart from Him. He couldn’t bear to be separated from His creation. He couldn’t contain His love any longer. He didn’t want to keep communicating with man from behind the veil.

He broke down every wall, every chain, every curse, every stronghold, every thing including death! He defeated it all for a relationship with us. He wants us to spend time with Him in His Presence. It’s there that we will receive EVERY single answer, every single provision, every single healing. It’s all flowing freely from God to us because of Jesus!!!!

And that is the best gift God could ever give to His people, His creation, His sons and daughters. He gave Himself so that we could have a close, father child relationship with Him.

And that is also the very best gift you could ever give to your children. It doesn’t matter their age. The best gift you could ever give is the gift of a present momma or daddy.

Be there. In their world. PRESENT. Be in their business. Talk to them. Look in their eyes. Hear their frustrations and bear their little hurts on your shoulders. They desire you. They desire your connection, your words, your time, and your attention.

The Lord came as a baby from heaven to earth so that nothing could stand between us. When He took His final breath, the veil that covered the Holy of Holies which was where His Presence resided and only the High Priest could enter once per year, that veil tore right in half. Top to bottom torn. No longer behind a veil, but now residing in His people who put their trust in Him.

Now we have the gift of His Presence with us always.

And mommies, your presence is the best gift you could give your children. Your kiddos, no matter their age whether they are babies or they have their own babies now, need you.

Just as we so need the connection of the Lord, our children need the connection of a present parent. Let’s be parents who choose to tear the veil of busyness, the veil of distraction, the veil of technology, the veil of worry.

Whatever keeps you from being fully present with your kids, you can bring it to the Lord and ask for His help in tearing the veil so you can be fully present this Christmas.

That’s the best present you could ever give to your children.

Dear Heavenly Father, We will need help with this one! Please come and help us to recognize the miracle of Your birth and the beauty of the veil being torn. Help us to tear down the veils that keep us from being present with our children.
