It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new sunrise. A new day to live out the Lord’s Greatest Commandment of all. Love.

Love God. Love Others. Love your neighbor as yourself. Love. Just love and keep on loving.

Today’s verse of the day in the bible app is from 1 Corinthians 13:1 If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

As we interact with others, we could have the best intentions in the world, but without delivering the message in love, they just hear noise.

When we give advice, it has to be done in and with love.

When we correct our children or our students, it has to be done with love.

When we share the gospel, it has to be done with love.

When we tell someone that they have hurt us or offended us, it has to be done with love.

When we teach, instruct, or guide, it has to be done in love.

When we interact with other people, if we want them to hear us, we have to interact with them in love.

When we love, people are more receptive and open. They can hear what we have to say or share.

When we lack love, not only do we just become more noise. Its painful noise like a clanging cymbal. People don’t need any more noise, people do need love. And they need it in a abundant doses!

Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. These are the Lord’s greatest commandments.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Fill us to overflowing with Your love, so that we can overflow onto others. Pour into us, and let us share Your love everywhere we go like a bright city on a hill. Let your love shine and light up everything we touch today. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
