Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start.
A new day to lean against Jesus and let Him allow you to find true rest.
A new day to practice being so close to Jesus that you can just gently lean back against Him.
He can prop you up when you need steadying.
He can be the One to keep you on your feet today.
He can be the One whose arm you hold onto for support.
He can be the One that keeps you upright and able to keep going.
If you are tired, He can provide a resting place.
The most miraculous of resting places is in Jesus, because as you rest in Jesus, you actually are able to carry out divine purpose.
His offering to you for rest is a place where you can be heard, seen, filled, encouraged, and then sent to carry out what He has planned for you.
His rest breaks off heavy yokes and burdens.
His rest is complete and total.
His rest allows for continuous renewal.
Learning to rest in Him is part of His plan for you. As you rest in Jesus, He will refill, refuel, and give you what you need to go another day.
His rest is what can give you what you need to rise when you don’t think you have it in you to get up again.
Keep resting in Him and you will find the strength to keep rising against all odds that are battling against you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Teach us to rest. Teach us to lean into You for the rest You desire to give to us. Teach us to be still and abide in Your safety and your love. Show us how to just lean back and allow You to hold us.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.

I know! Nia wouldn’t settle down and stay in bed the other night, so Addy laid with her and they fell asleep together. I have so many pics of them sleeping throughout the years. I could just sit and watch them breathe..
