Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. Another day to rise and keep going in the direction that you’ve been called.

Another day to keep rising in faith.

Another day to trust in Jesus.

Another day to lean into His ways even when you don’t understand.

Another day to trust His goodness and His plans even when the earth seems to be crumbling.

Another day to rise and walk knowing there’s more happening than just what you see.

Another day to keep going even when it’s hard.

Another day to let His strength come and fill in the weak spots, the temptations, and the places where you fall.

Another day to Just. Keep. Going.

Keep Rising, keep getting out of bed. Keep moving, and keep trusting.

I have been with several friends in the trenches lately. Sitting with them and praying for mountain to move and week after week, month after month, sometimes year after year, those mountains are still there. They are tall and looming.

The temptation is to throw in the towel. Stop praying so hard. Let hope escape your spirit.

But in those deep trenches where nothing has shifted, there is an opportunity to have faith anyway.

When the prayer goes unanswered and the struggle remains is fertile ground for two scenarios….

Either a great faith to rise up and be strengthened even before the victory. A faith that shouts to the spiritual realm that you believe just because God said and not because of what you see. A strength and a faith that moves the heart of God. When you trust in the valley, your faith is refined and proven strong and pure and authentic.

The other scenario for the space of unanswered prayers is fertile ground for the lies of the enemy to take root. The enemy will speak lies to us when we are in the midst of a dark valley. He will try to make us question our faith, question if it’s all worth it, question if God really hears, and question whether we will be stuck in the valley forever.

I know the pain of the valley. I am still in it at times. I encourage you to breathe in long and deep. Put your feet on the ground to get some fresh traction, put on praise and worship music, read the scriptures, and pray even when you don’t always feel like it.

Stay steadfast, stay moving ahead even when every step is heavy and painful, keep turning to Jesus.

You will recieve the victory. God sees your faith. He is a rewarder of faith. Keep going today my friend. You are joining a great multitude of fathers and mothers in the faith who have gone before you. They were steadfast even when they didn’t understand. They fell sometimes too.

Focus on the getting back up. Focus on the prize of victory ahead. Focus on the fact that the sun rises every day even after the darkest night.

Just. Keep. Going.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Strengthen your people for what lies ahead. Keep us going even when we feel like laying down in defeat. Lord, fill us with new reservoirs of peace, strength, resolve, and grit to keep the fight of faith going strong. Lord, help us to run with endurance.
