Week 3: Scripture Memorization

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to rise up and turn to Jesus.

Happy Sunday! I pray it’s a blessed day fueled by His Presence!

For those of you who are committing to memorizing scripture, I am posting the next 2 scriptures today!

If you haven’t started yet, today is the perfect day to start!

If you got a little behind, today is the perfect day to recommit.

If you feel like memorizing is too hard, ask for God’s help.

If you worry that you won’t be able to do it, start with just reading them daily.

They will get soaked into your spirit!

If you are wondering how I pick the verses each week, they come from this list:Navigator’s Memory Verses

I read them and add the I am statement at the top which is a core belief that you are speaking over yourself, and then as you memorize scripture, you are weaving the very Words of the Lord into your being so that you have God breathed promises, instructions, and teachings on the inside of you!

I am sharing the first two week’s verses as well as the new ones:

Week 1: Christ the Center

Week 2: Obedience to Christ

And today……Week 3: The Word!

Each one is followed by a memorization tool that just has the first letter of each word so you can test your memorization of the verse with a little help.

I will dig deeper this week into the meanings of the week 3 verses.

For today, I am just sharing them so that you can start copying them into your journal or onto notecards.

Memorization tip for the week:

Invite a friend to memorize with you! You can encourage eachother throughout the week!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your scriptures that are Your very Words in a love letter to us! Each account points to Your love, compassion, mercy, justice, and radical sacrifice for us. Help us to memorize Your Words with a new thirst.

In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings to each of you for the week ahead!

Vanessa Lynn
