Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. And God is good in all seasons and through all things.

Last Monday, I was unable to get out of bed. I could barely walk or stand. I was in a state of shock and deeep, deeep grief.

I didn’t know what to do, so I did all I knew how. I called on Jesus.

I laid face down on my bathroom floor and I cried out for Him. I told Him, ” Jesus you are Messiah, King, Savior, and Lord. I trust You Jesus. I trust You Jesus. I trust You Jesus.” That was all I could pray. Tears pouring down my face as I sat in the shower because I couldn’t stand, and I just leaned into Jesus.

Friends, He showed up. He drew near to me. He came in and flooded me with comfort and a peace that didn’t make any sense in the moment. The pain didn’t ease up immediately, but there was a steady well of peace even through pain that felt unbearable.

When things get hard and you are unsure how to pray or what to say because no words seem right. Or you’re in so much pain, words are hard to form…. just say, “Jesus.”

His name is healing. His name is power. His name is all you need..

This week I have fallen asleep just saying His name. In the middle of the night, I will awaken to nightmares and again I will just pray, “Jesus.. please help Jesus.”

In the mornings when it hits me all over again, I lay in bed and just say, “Jesus. Jesus. Jesus.” It’s a prayer similar to how you would call, “Mommy or Daddy.”

So my encouragement today is to tell you that you don’t need lengthy prayers, you can just call on Your sweet Lord by His name, and He is faithful to show up. Just like a parent runs when they hear their name. So does Your sweet Lord. He runs to you!

Need help now, Jesus.

Need deliverance from fear, just say, “Jesus.”

Need to breathe through the heaviness on your chest, just say, “Jesus.”

Need anxiety to break, just say, “Jesus.”

Need hot scalding pain to be comforted, just say, “Jesus.”

Need lies attacking your mind to flee, Jesus

Need mountains to crumble, Jesus

Need help now, Jesus

I am here to testify, He IS who He says He is and He DOES what He promises to do.

I have so many testimonies of how my family and I were surrounded by Him this week. I will share more…

For today, just flee to Jesus. He has ALL you need whether you are walking in the valley or the mountaintop.

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are so good. You truly walk with us, talk with us, help us, heal us, mend us, stand us back up when we cannot stand alone. Thank You Lord for being alive and active in our lives. I see You everywhere. Let us be a people that flee to You as our first place of help when we are in need.
