Advent Day 10! SAVIOR OF THE WORLD

Good Morning Gorgeous!

It’s a brand NEW day. A fresh NEW start. All things are becoming new today!

As you lean into Jesus, you can receive what He has made available through His divine birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension.

Let’s lean into Jesus as SAVIOR today!

Mary, the mother of Jesus, was very early in her pregnancy when she visited her cousin Elizabeth. As she entered the home, she burst into a song, and her tongue declared this name of the Lord, Savior.

And Mary said:
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
And my spirit has rejoiced in God, my Savior. Luke 1: 47-48

Her life has been turned upside down by an unexpected, holy pregnancy. Her future will now look completely different than she had imagined. She has to share uncomfortable news with her fiance Joseph. There will be talk. There will be accusations, and she will face the possibility of rejection and divorce. It’s messy, and yet, she is carrying a promise. She has a revelation and recognizes that in all of this discomfort, the Lord is actually SAVING her!

Saving. It’s what He does. You could ask Abraham when He delivered Lot from an evil town set for destruction.
Saving. It’s what He does. You could ask Abraham when He spared His son and provided a ram as a foreshadowing of Jesus.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Jacob as He was saved again and again from slavery, imprisonment, and famine.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the Israelites who were saved from the Egyptians and crossed through the Red Sea on dry land.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the many Israelite Kings who saw the Lord defeat army after army on their behalf.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who walked out of the fire not even smelling like smoke.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the shepherds who were given this glorious birth announcement by the angel!
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the prophet Simeon who beheld the baby Jesus in the temple and began to prophesy over Him.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Mary Magdalene who was freed from demonic oppression and mental torment.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask His disciples who were invited from various lifestyles and careers and given a whole new life filled with miracles, signs, and wonders.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the early church fathers who were given the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit and able to walk in full authority given to them by Jesus.
Saving. It’s what He does. Ask any follower of Jesus Christ to tell you their story of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

God had a plan for a much bigger salvation than our daily affliction. There was a plan to save the eternal state of our souls so we could live in fellowship with the Lord like Adam and Eve did before the fall.

He had a FULL redemption plan involving the supernatural activity of heaven touching earth! He is a mighty God who saves. His birth into the world marked the beginning of the ultimate redemption plan!

He revealed it as a promise in the Old Testament, and then, with the birth of Jesus, began to fulfill His plans to conquer sin and death once and for all. He wants nothing to harm you, not even the finality of death. Jesus conquered death itself. Is there anything He cannot do if He has power over death? He is Lord of lords, King of kings.

He has power and dominion over everything, including life and death. The ultimate saving? When believers who have placed their trust in Jesus close their eyes on earth in death, they immediately rise unto life with Christ!

Nothing can stop you when you have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Not even death itself. Paul says to die is gain.
For to me, to live  is  Christ, and to die  is  gain. Phillipians 1: 21

So fear of death loses all power. Perfect love casts out all fear. And Jesus desires to save us here and fill us with His love and Holy Spirit and then give us a rich inheritance for all of eternity.

He is the Ultimate Savior!
And if you haven’t yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Savior. Today is the perfect day to be saved by the Lord who is waiting for you to come home or come BACK home if you’ve let the fire of the Lord turn lukewarm. He is the Lord who is mighty to save.

Saving, it’s what He does, and today is your turn!

Dear Lord,
I am in complete and total awe of how You save, heal, set free, and redeem.  You are a Mighty God who chooses grace over condemnation. Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem and save me so I can have a relationship with You. I believe that You sent Jesus to save me from my sins. I believe He died on the cross and rose again, conquering sin and death. Please forgive me for my sins.  By faith, I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior today. I desire to follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for saving me!
                                     In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings this Christmas!
