Why is this walk SO hard?

Good Afternoon Child of the Most High God,

It’s a brand NEW day. A fresh NEW start.

It’s a NEW day to Just. Keep. Going.

You may have woke up this morning battle weary from yesterday.

Unsure if you can keep going.

Insecure about your ability to win this battle.

There have been days where you thought the victory was close only to find yourself 2 steps backwards.

And it’s. Just. So. Hard.

This battle is hard because it matters. A battle worth fighting is one that matters.

You’re fighting for your God given destiny and His promises to come to pass.

You’re fighting for land that belongs to you. Your victory was blood bought by Jesus Christ. Yet there are enemies of the promise standing in the way between you and what Christ has purchased for you.

✝️Healing, it’s been paid for by His stripes.

✝️Peace in your Mind, it’s been paid for and given to you as a gift.

✝️Authority to move as Jesus did, given to you by the Power of His Spirit.

✝️Abundant life- Part of your holy inheritance.

So why is it so hard. If it’s yours why aren’t you experiencing it yet?

Squatters in the land. Giants in the way. Just like David had to slay Goliath, so you may need to battle what is standing in front of you.

Just like Joshua had to lead the Israelites into the promised land even though there were giants there that didn’t want to move out.

Just like Jesus came against religion, tradition, demons, sickness, rebellion, and even death. God Himself came down and broke EVERY curse at the cross!

That means the victory is rightfully YOURS when you are under His Lordship.

Yet the enemies still try to bully you and push you backwards. The Promised land was given to the Israelites yet they had to battle giants in FAITH to get their land.

This is hard because every victory you experience is a WIN for the Kingdom. A WIN for you. A WIN for your children and generations after you.

You are taking the land back from the enemy battle by battle. Victory by victory.

Ephesians 6:12-20 ESV
[12] For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. [13] Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. [14] Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, [15] and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. [16] In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; [17] and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, [18] praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, [19] and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, [20] for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.

1️⃣First, there’s the receiving of salvation, the enemy loses the power of death over you.

2️⃣Then there’s the sanctification process where you begin to surrender things over to Jesus and He processes you, Heals you, equips you, guides you, gets you out of your old patterns and your old ways.

This is a life long process with Jesus but take heart you are becoming more and more like the Lord and the enemies are being driven OUT as you gain victory. Addictions leave. Fear leaves. Old mindsets go. Unhealthy habits go. Coping mechanisms go. These are the enemies that try to prevent you from moving forward.

3️⃣And somewhere along the walk you move from clearing the field and kicking out enemies to BUILDING something!

Oh and this brings a whole new onslaught of enemy voices!  Think Nehemiah when he started rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem!

It got the attention of Sanballat and Tobiah who were enemies of the Israelites.  These men came against the building. They MOCKED Nehemiah’s efforts to rebuild.

They taunted them, belittled them, and tried to get them to shrink back, slow down, and stop!

This is where many of you are! You’ve been walking with Jesus for a long time. You’ve gained alot of victory over the enemy by the Word and the Authority of Jesus Christ, and now you’re BUILDING!

You’re building healthy families, ministries, and businesses.

And you feel like the attacks have started all over and you’re going backwards.

You are NOT going backwards.

You are NOT losing ground.

YOU have caught the attention of the those both in the natural and the spiritual that want to stop the advancement of the Kingdom in your life.

The Sanballats and Tobiahs have taken notice and they can be LOUD! 📣📣📣

You may be questioning the call of God in an area of your life.

You may be questioning if you have what it takes to endure much longer.

Look at how Nehemiah responded.

The God of heaven will make us prosper, and we His servants will rise and build, but you have no portion or right or claim in Jerusalem.” Nehemiah 2: 30

Nehemiah the BUILDER responded the same way Joshua and David responded when they were AQUIRING the land.

These men of FAITH, chose to Magnify God to the giant and speak the victory and then go ahead and get the promise!

All three men chose to go forth boldly in the call of God to battle giants by continually speaking God’s magnitude in the face of giants.

TODAY as you build what God has called you to build speak these truths.

📣I am here in this season with my feet on planet earth with a purpose for a purpose.

📣God who called me to this space WILL give me the victory.

📣God has given me the land and I will build despite the voices.

📣I will steady my hands and continue to build with God as my guide.

📣I am building on the Solid Rock of Christ and I shall not be shaken.

📣I am building something that is so impact full for the Kingdom of God I am experiencing pushback, but it will NOT stop me.

📣I am moving forward in the face of the mockers and the giants.

📣As for me and my house we will serve the Lord and build in obedience.

📣The enemy has no claim to my mind, my emotions, my physical body, or my destiny.

📣I am taking back my holy inheritance and building unashamedly!

In Jesus’s Name, Amen

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV
[3] For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. [4] For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. [5] We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, [6] being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Blessings and KEEEEEP building!
