Gooooood Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to rise unto Jesus. A new day to begin with His praises on your lips. A new day to sing a song unto Him. A new day to serve Him with your hands, feet, and the words that you speak. A new dawn will rise soon reminding us that He continues to make all things new. That even when we fall, He remains faithful. Even when we stumble, He causes fresh mercies to rise each day with the rising sun. How many times will He patiently pick us back up and brush off our skinned knees? How many times will He lift our chin up as we hang our head in shame? How many times will He whisper, “I am here. I have all you need.”
As long as the sun is rising and you have breath in your lungs, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning. He is calling you to higher ground. He is calling you beyond the shoreline where you stumble and fall when the big waves hit. He is calling you to rise up and move to a new fortified state of strength on higher, safer ground. Even though His mercies are afresh each day, and He will continue to pick you and the shattered pieces up each day. He has called you for more than this. A refreshing and a renewal await you on higher ground where the crashing waves can’t knock you over time and time again.
Whatever is warring against you this morning. Whatever your crashing wave is that continues to knock you off your feet. Whatever keeps tripping you up again and again and again….God’s mercies are greater. Nothing can separate us from His love. Nothing. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than our struggles. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than our addictions. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than our daily frustrations. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than our pain. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than our anxieties. God’s mercies are wider and deeper than anything knocking you off your feet. He has fresh mercy and grace for you today.
But not only will He pick you up again and again, He is gently calling you to a new place. A higher ground where those things are beneath your feet and you stand on solid ground. A higher place where the struggles of the past are small and hard to see from your new elevated place with Jesus. A new, higher ground that shifts our perspective from the struggle to the Savior. A new, higher ground where security and safety from the floodwaters is found in the Presence of Jesus. The Lord is willing to pick you up this morning, and put you back on your feet. He will do this time and time again. But do you dare to believe you could be free once and for all from the struggle that keeps knocking the wind from your lungs? Freedom is already yours in Jesus. He can help you see fresh and brand new this morning. He has a higher, safer ground for you. Pour out your struggles. Tell Him that you are ready to move forward with Him. Get face to face with Jesus and pour out your heart before Him. His gentle response may surprise you. He will safely redeem you. He’s been inviting you up and out of the stormy waters, but you have to grab ahold of His hand and walk.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for fresh mercies each dawn. Thank you for your redemption time and time again. Thank you for never leaving us or forsaking us even when we fall in the same struggle time and time again. Lord, pull us up and out and strengthen our resolve to walk free once and for all. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
Blessings,
Vanessa Lynn
