Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to soak in God’s goodness. A new day to revel in His kindness. A new day to be thankful for His loving kindness that has saved us from our sins and set us free.

The verse of the day in the bible app is from Romans. “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”

That verse seemed like it needed to be read in context, so I read several verses after it too. Wow, God is so good. Here is Romans 3:23-26:

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past, for he was looking ahead and including them in what he would do in this present time. God did this to demonstrate his righteousness, for he himself is fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus.

Romans 3:23‭-‬26 NLT

How amazing is our Lord!!! We are freed. We are able to live free from the penalty of sin, and we are made right in His sight.

When He looks at us, He doesn’t see our mistakes, our mishaps, our mess ups, our sins, our weaknesses. He looks at us and sees fully righteous saints who have been made righteous by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We did nothing to earn it. It was freely given by a loving Father who wanted to be connected to His people. He wanted to talk with them, walk with them, empower them, and ultimately redeem them!

The Lord looks upon you with favor and love. He see His beautiful creation when He looks at you. When we believe in Jesus and repent, we are set free from our sins and empowered to live a new life free from the bondage that sin brings.

How amazing is that?!

Fully forgiven

Fully freed

Fully loved

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for Your love that is greater than I can fathom. Thank You for making a way for us to be connected to You and freed from sin.

In Jesus’s name, Amen.
