I ams and You Ares

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to rise and settle into the arms of the Father. A new day to walk in the truth of who God is and who you are.

I write alot about the power of our spoken word, and the importance of speaking positive I am statements over yourself. Our words carry immense creative power to heal, restore, and access God’s provision. They also carry immense destructive power and they can hurt, curse, and cause us to close our hands to the provision that God is providing. Our words are powerful and they shift, arrange, rearrange, and change things in us and in the atmosphere around us.

What I am also discovering is not only are I ams so valuable, but you ares are powerful as well. I could write a whole post here on the value of speaking you ares to another person. ( I think I will do that tomorrow!)

But I am talking here about speaking out loud You Ares to God. And not because He needs to know who He is, but because as we worship Him and we speak who He is and what He is capable of, we change our perspective and our thinking. Our spirit is quenched. The atmosphere hears our declarations and things are set into motion.

We can speak aloud truth and our words will create space for us to walk in. Try speaking these aloud.

You God are Almighty, and nothing is impossible for You.

You are the Creator of all things.

You are the One who hung the sun, moon, stars, and earth. You set everything into perfect motion.

You are the creator and sustainer of my life.

You are the author of the book of my life.

You are the beginning and the end.

You are on the throne and in control.

You are planning good things for me.

You love me with an everlasting love and you sing over me with joy like a parent over a child.

You are my Savior and my Lord.

You are my Father and my King.

You are the One that I live for.

Friends, I could keep going and going. As I speak those statements out loud, something shifts in my belly and my spirit. I am grounded in truth and ready to slay the day. When I speak these things, I am reminded who my God is and that He is my Father and that He is For Me all the the days of my life, and then I begin to think and act differently. I interact with the world around me in a new way. I move with new perspectives and new ideas. Fear has to flee and assurance in my God takes hold.

And if those words about my God are true then it makes statements about me true:

I am able to pray with assurance to the One who hears my prayers.

I am the daughter of the King of Kings.

I am chosen by God, created by God, and sustained by God.

I am protected by God. I am safe in His Word.

I can depend on Him, lean into Him, and trust His provision.

I am here on purpose with Heavenly assignments.

I am walking out a divine destiny and I am in the will of God.

Friends, I ams and You Ares can shift and change the angst you feel inside. Speaking truth can empower your Spirit, calm your nerves, quiet your soul, and change the things happening in and around you. When your perspective changes, your attitude shifts, then your actions usually follow, and things around you follow and begin to shift and align. Your words have creative or destructive power. If you speak destruction, you will generally walk in destruction.

If you speak truth and life, you will walk in truth and life.

If God is for you, who can possibly rise against you?

Try it! And be amazed! Speak your I ams and You Ares every day and often. Let God give you new ones that are just for you. Speak them, share them!

Dear Heavenly Father,

Let us walk and talk the truth every day. Put wisdom in our hearts and let it flow from our tongues.

In Jesus’s name, Amen

Blessings!

Vanessa Lynn
