A Table in the Midst of Every Struggle

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new day to rise up and walk ahead in victory. Move ahead knowing that the One who holds the stars is holding you today.

You can stand tall with the assurance that there is no place that your feet will tread that the Lord is not with you.

His Word promises to never leave you or forsake you.

His Word promises that even though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He will be there to comfort you.

He will give you rest right out in the open in green pastures. He won’t tuck you away and hide you from the things coming against you. Instead, He will give you rest right where you are.

He won’t always remove the enemies who are against you on all sides. Instead, He will prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies. He will prepare a table where you can come to Him and sit with Him. A place where you can receive from Him what you need to sustain another day. He will feed you, and speak life into you. He will talk with you and remind you that you are a chosen daughter or son. He will equip you at the table to move ahead despite the storm.

The table is set. He has called you to it right in the presence of adversity, anxiety, relationship issues, pain, illness, brokenness, work issues, depression, struggles with temptation, or anything else that you face today.

He may not pluck you up and out like you are hoping for. Instead, He may meet you right in the battlefield and prepare a table for you to come and sit with Him. A place of intimate conversation and the filling up of the things that will sustain you for another day.

Today, come to the table. Sit with the Lord. Don’t wait for everything to be just right and all of your worries to be handled before you sit and rest with God.

Lie down in the green pasture in the face of trouble. Come and have a seat at the table even when there are enemies pressed in on all sides.

After a meal with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, you will be equipped and prepared to handle anything and everything that tries to come against you. But not a single arrow formed against you will prosper.
