Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new dawn is here washing away old, chasing away the dark. The sun will rise slowly and even though you can’t see the bright and shining sun when it first breaks out, you know that the light of day is coming after the first signs of daybreak. You have experienced enough sunrises to know that the sunrise and its fullness will follow the first few slivers of morning light.
If you are struggling with something and praying desperately for breakthrough, keep watch for the first slivers of light. You may be looking for the full sunrise of breakthrough, and think that God is not moving. Yet, there may be slivers of light breaking into your situation. There may not be full sunrise yet, but the crack of dawn has come. Once you spot those first signs of daybreak, cling to the Lord and pray for full sunrise.
Your breakthrough may come in gentle stages like the sunrise. And the beauty of sunrises is each stage gets prettier than the previous. Those first glimpses of light are evidence that the darkness is numbered. It’s time is short. The darkness cannot remain.
Then, as you see the light of day breaking forth, the sky starts to light up with color.
Not every sunrise looks the same. Not every breakthrough will look exactly the same. The colors show up on the scene in blue hues, yellows, oranges, pinks, and purples.
Sometimes when you are inside, you don’t see the sunrise, but you hear it. The birds begin to chirp, nature is aroused from it’s slumber.
And then even though the process seems to unfold at a snail’s pace, suddenly its done and the sun is shining.
Friends, if you are contending for breakthrough and it feels like the dead of night on your situation, keep praying. Don’t stop declaring your victory. The break of dawn is coming. Keep watch for the break of dawn, listen for the sounds of breakthrough. It may not happen suddenly, but instead it may happen in slow and steady stages like the sunrise that chases away the night.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Keep hope alive as we pray for things that seem to be on hold. Lord, give strength to keep praying, to keep going, to keep hoping, to keep watching expectantly for the full breakthrough. Lord, let the sun rise bright and tall over the situations we have been praying for breakthrough.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.
Amen. May we be truly patient till we get to our breaking forth!.
Thanks for sharing this. 🤗
