Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start.

A new day to turn to Jesus and let Him stand you back up.

A new day to turn to Jesus and let Him be your comfort.

A new day to turn to Jesus and let Him be your rest.

A new day to turn to Jesus and admit afresh that you can’t do this alone.

A new day to turn to Jesus and allow Him to breathe on the dry spaces in your life so that they may be revived.

A new day to turn to Jesus and be filled.

A new day to turn to Jesus and be heard.

A new day to turn to Jesus and let Him heal the hurts.

A new day to turn to Jesus fully ready to hear His holy instructions.

A new day to come to the end of your own will and begin to accept the will of the Lord.

A new day to turn to Jesus and simply say, “I need You.”

A new day to turn to Jesus and let Him be the answer to the struggle.

A new day to turn to Jesus and invite Him into every area of your life even the parts you’ve been keeping hidden.

A new day to trust that Jesus will keep every one of His promises.

A new day to take Jesus at His Word.

Today is a fresh new day. Yesterday has passed. The darkness of last night is being chased away by the light of Dawn.

Today is fresh. Today is new and the Lord is waiting to comfort you, heal you, and provide for you. Your part is simple. Admit afresh that you need a Savior, and let Him come and Save.

Daily, I tell Him that I cannot live this life apart from Him. Daily, I admit my need for a Savior. And sometimes when the day is difficult, I tell Him every hour. “Lord, I need You. I cannot do this alone. Come Lord..I invite You into this situation. I invite You to come and do what only You can do. Lord, I trust You.”

And there are moments when I forget and I try to do it alone. Moments when I try to run ahead of Him and do my own thing apart from His help or His leading or His grace, and then when I realize I haven’t invited Him in, He is so compassionate when I turn to Him.

Friends, it’s a continual fleeing into His arms. A continual confession that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and I cannot live this life apart from Him. And as I run into His arms, He provides peace, rest, comfort, reassurance, healing, identity, freedom, and instructions.

If you need anything this morning, flee into His arms. He has everything you need. He has all that the world just cannot offer. He has Heavenly answers to your earthly troubles.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We recognize You afresh this morning as our Lord and Savior. You are the One that we turn to and run to when the pressures and hurts of this world become too much for us to carry. Lord, drive away the hurts and worries of this life and fill us with the peace of heaven that surpasses our understanding. Give us peace when it doesn’t even make sense.
