Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new day to rise and flee right into the Arms of the One who has all you need.
You can safely drop the coping mechanisms no longer serving you.
You can bravely say no to the things that hurt.
You can firmly and securely stand on solid footing and keep the ground you’ve already conquered.
You can trust Jesus to be gentle and loving as He teaches you to unclench your teeth, release your tightly curled fists, and breathe in a long much needed breath.
You don’t have to stay there in fight or flight.
Your Papa has your back. He is ready to be your shield, your Rock, your provider, your healer, and your steady stream of peace right in the midst of the storm.
Jesus teaches again and again that He would take care of His people. That if you placed your trust in Him, He would care for you.

The Lord promises that those who ask will receive.
Those that seek will find.
Those that knock, the door will be opened to them.
Those that need food, clothing, and care will be provided for. That as you seek the Lord and His ways, all else will be given to you.
So chase Him down with your whole heart and soul today. Cry out, “Jesus, I am ready to lean on You, to trust You, to be renewed and filled by You.”

Read your Bible. As you read, He has things to tell you. Loving scriptures that will encourage you. Some that may challenge you and help you to get the clarity you long for.
Turn the worship music up and let your soul bless the Lord.
As you go after Him, you will find a new peace. A fresh fill that is just what you needed for today. This very hour.
He promises that when you seek Him with your whole heart, you will find Him. And when you pray, He will bend down to listen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for promising that as we seek You, we will find You. As we pray, You will listen. Thank You for Your goodness. Your faithfulness. Your care and Your provision. We run to You today. We trust that Your arms are ready, wide open to gather us up. Lord, infuse Your people with peace today. The peace that only You can provide.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.

This puts a new spin on the advice that we often hear to wait on Jesus.
I much better at chasing than waiting patiently.
