Day 10: Who is Jesus? SAVIOR

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start.

A brand new day to call on the Lord Jesus as your Savior.

Saving. It’s what He does. You could ask Abraham when He delivered Lot from an evil town set for destruction.

Saving. It’s what He does. You could ask Abraham when He spared His son and provided a ram as a foreshadowing of Jesus.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Jacob as He was saved again and again from slavery, imprisonment, and famine.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the Israelites who were saved from the Egyptians and crossed through a river on dry land..

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the many Israelite Kings who saw the Lord defeat army after army on their behalf.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who were thrown into the firey furnace and in the fire, Jesus appeared as the Angel of the Lord and they walked out not even smelling like smoke.

And God had a plan for a much bigger salvation than just our daily affliction, there was a plan to save the eternal state of our souls so we could live in fellowship with the Lord like Adam and Eve did before the fall.

He had a FULL redemption plan that would involve the miraculous and the supernatural activity of heaven touching earth!

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the shepherds who were given this glorious birth announcement by the angel!

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the prophet Simeon who beheld the baby Jesus in the temple and began to prophecy over Him.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask Mary Magdalene who was freed from demonic oppression and mental torment.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask His disciples who were invited from various lifestyles and careers and given a whole new life filled with miracles, signs, and wonders.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask the early church fathers who were given the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit and able to walk in full authority given to them by Jesus.

Saving. It’s what He does. Ask any follower of Jesus Christ to tell you their story of the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

I was saved from generational poverty, domestic violence, generational addictions, and my own destructive patterns. But Jesus in all His mercy saved my soul and set my feet on solid ground here on earth.

He is a mighty God who saves. And His birth into the earth marked the beginning of the ultimate redemption plan!

He planned it and revealed it as a promise in the Old Testament and then with the birth of Jesus began to fulfill His plans to conquer sin and death once and for all for His people.

God doesn’t just desire to bless us and save us here on earth, but He has a bigger plan of saving redemption for you. He wants nothing to harm you, not even the finality of death.

So Jesus conquered death itself. If He has power over death, then is there anything He cannot do? We read earlier in Advent that He is Lord of lords, King of kings. He has power and dominion over everything and that includes power over life and death itself.

The ultimate saving? He made a way that when a believer who has placed their trust in Jesus closes their eyes on earth in death, they immediately rise unto life with Christ!

Friends, nothing can stop you when you have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus. Not even death itself. Paul says to die is gain.

So fear of death loses all power. Perfect love casts out all fear. And Jesus desires to save us here and fill us with His love and Holy Spirit and then give us a rich inheritance for all of eternity.

He is the Ultimate Savior!

And if you haven’t yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Savior. Today is the perfect day to be saved! Its as simple as praying Lord, I believe that You sent Jesus to save me from my sins. I believe that He died on the cross and rose again three days later conquering sin and death. Please forgive me for my sins.. In faith, I recieve Jesus as my Lord and Savior today. Show me what to do next and connect me with people who can guide me on my journey with You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am in complete and total awe of how You save, heal, set free, and redeem us. You are a Mighty God who chooses grace over condemnation and love over judgement. Thank You for sending Jesus to redeem and save us so that we can be in full relationship with You. Please help us to revel and meditate on You as our Savior this Christmas season.

In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings as you look to Jesus as your Savior!
