Good Morning Gorgeous!
It’s a brand new day! A fresh new start. A new day to push back the fog and walk in spiritual clarity!
Here is a Recap of last Wednesday’s Facebook live!
Fog
What is it? It’s a mist that covers and distorts reality. It makes the road hard to see and it makes things appear dangerous that are in fact roads meant to be traveled and it makes other things that are indeed roadblocks to be avoided, hard to see.
Fog blends and masks in a way that one can’t see what’s right or wrong. What path is safe and which way has danger signs in the way.
Fog makes it hard to make decisions. Fog makes right decisions appear wrong and wrong ones look right.
these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

When we are talking spiritual vs the world we live in. The way to clarity is to rise above what we see in the natural and view everything we face through the lenses of scripture.
Five important things to see with clarity:
1. Who God is as revealed by scripture
2. Who we are in Him – seeing clearly who we are in the Lord
3. Clarity in the battle
4. Clarity in the mountaintop
5. Seeing clearly how we are to view others
When we learn to view life’s problems, trials, losses, and even opportunities through the lens of scripture, a supernatural 20/20 vision comes and we can make decisions with a new assurance, a new peace, and we can both stand firm with courage AND also begin to drive ahead AGAIN. Fog slows but with clarity a new boldness comes to accelerate.
Clarity comes from scripture:
Two tonight.
****1. Scriptural/biblical view of God and from that a biblical view of who WE are in HIM.
Remember our story from Joshua. This is an example of what it looks like to have clarity and view the trial through the lenses of who God is!
David did the same thing. He looked right at Goliath and magnified God.
David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.” When Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, “Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.” “Now what have I done?” said David. “Can’t I even speak?” He then turned away to someone else and brought up the same matter, and the men answered him as before. What David said was overheard and reported to Saul, and Saul sent for him. David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.” Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”
1 Samuel 17:26-37 NIV

David KNEW how BIG his God was! He knew how small the enemy was in comparison to the Lord.
David KNEW who he was in the Lord! The same God who had delivered him previously from the bear and the lion would deliver him again from THIS GIANT!
Another David taught us is to speak to our own soul the truth in times of need.
This is how we receive clarity. We speak truth and magnify God and see ourselves in Him!
Here are 10 statements of truth to speak when the fog rolls in!
We can speak aloud truth and our words will create space for us to walk in. Try speaking these aloud.
1. You are the Creator of all things AND you chose me and created me with intention and care.
I am handcrafted by the Lord Himself.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Psalms 139:13-15

2. You delight in me!
I am your daughter and I bring you joy!
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14

3. You have good plans for me..
I can follow you in total surrender, dependence, and trust.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

4. You think good things about me. I am on the Lord’s mind!
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.
Psalms 139:17-18

5. You fight my battles.
I need to remain still.
The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14

6. You chose me for this very time in history.
I am here on purpose with a divine destiny..
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Psalms 139:16

7. You see me.
I am known and seen by You Lord.
She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
Genesis 16:13

8. You are my safe place.
I am able to rest in Your protection. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalms 4:8 NIV

9. Your Word is for my good.
As I follow Your Word, I am in the will of God.
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Psalms 119:105

10. You are my strength. I can do hard things with Christ’s Strength.
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31 NIV

You Ares can shift and change the angst you feel inside. Speaking truth can empower your Spirit, calm your nerves, quiet your soul, and change the things happening in and around you. When your perspective changes, your attitude shifts, then your actions usually follow, and things around you follow and begin to shift and align. Your words have creative or destructive power. If you speak destruction, you will generally walk in destruction.
If you speak truth and life, you will walk in truth and life.
If God is for you, who can possibly rise against you?
Try it! And be amazed! Speak your I ams and You Ares every day and often. Let God give you new ones that are just for you. Speak them, share them!
If we can lean into God for clarity when we are faced with confusion or an all out battle, He will guide us to victory every time.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You! Thank You for who we are in Christ! Thank You that we are healed and whole and able to rest while You fight every battle. Thank You that we can magnify You and minimize the enemy because You will defeat Him when we run to You and exercise the authority you’ve given us in Your Name. Thank You that You chose us, designed us, destined us and that You battle for us! Help us to keep our eyes on You every time!
In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
Blessings and clarity!
