Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a BRAND new day. A fresh new start!
A new day to rise and step into the Bold places God is calling you to!
A new day to break free from hindering mindsets.
A new day to shake off rejection.
A new day to choose to stop fearing people and grow in reverence of the Lord and His perfect call on your life!
Yesterday was Story Saturday and I missed posting. I’ll be back to it next Saturday!
Yesterday, I boldly entered NEW territory and I am sharing so that my testimony will break NEW ground for you too!!!
My three littles and I joined up with other women on FIRE for the Lord and evangelized in a local park.
This vision was given to me from the Lord over a year ago, and my husband and I have prayed about it. Leaned into it. And waited for His timing.
I shared with my husband and my bible study group about a year ago that I saw us preaching in the park. But I didn’t know when God would release us, and I didn’t want to go without a spiritual covering and clear direction from the Lord.
Chuck got excited and ordered a speaker and microphones just so we would “be ready!”
And… we waited.
Fast Forward to now, and the Core Group, which is a mentorship program under Jenny Weaver, goes out in their own cities to spread the gospel once a month.
Trembling, I signed up to be our city’s evangelism captain for the Core, EVEN though the enemy has told me that I am not good at evangelizing!
And so yesterday… with other ladies from the Core Group, we went to Centennial Park and boldly set up in a field that is between two sidewalks with alot of foot traffic.
I brought the speaker and microphones, and told Chuck. “We might not use them. I just wanna have them in the car just in case!”
In the days leading up to Saturday, I wanted to cancel. It had been a busy week. I was tired. I am not well equipped to lead an evangelism team. I am not a good evangelist. All of the enemy’s lies!
I told Chuck how I was feeling and he recognized it immediately as the enemy and said, “Oh you have to go now!”
As we were driving there Saturday morning, I felt my spirit becoming bolder and stronger. I felt my courage rising and the fear turned to excitement!
It was like as I said yes and started driving, the Lord came and strengthened me!
We brought sandwiches, water, and mini New Testament bibles. We also packed worship flags that the kids made over Thanksgiving break.
We pulled into the park, and I just felt completely and totally at ease.
We set up our speaker, cooler, and began to play worship music.

The other Core Ladies showed up and we began to worship right there in the park. Holy Spirit’s Presence was so tangible.
And chains of FEAR literally broke off! My Core Sister Meghan who I just met that morning took the microphone and just began to tell her testimony with such zeal! She preached like she had done it her whole life! When she handed the microphone back, she said, “Wow, I’ve never done that before! That was my first time ever!”

That’s God at work!
A woman got out of her car and immediately felt the Presence of God as she walked onto the sidewalk. She said, ” I can feel Him here!”

That’s God at work!
A man walked up to us from Minnesota who was at the park to minister the gospel as well. He had a similar mission to serve the homeless community and to spread the gospel in a loving way. We found out we even have the same last name.

That’s God at work!
Two different families traveling from Miami for the Thanksgiving holiday came over and shared that they were also Christians and were encouraged by the worship and prayers.
That’s God at work!
A man named Bob spent over an hour talking with us about his journey on a bike all across Florida never staying in one place for long.

That’s God at work.
Each of us that came to evangelize and minister were new to it or new to doing it this way and we all stepped boldly into new Territory.

That’s God at work.
And… the children prayed, worshiped, and preached tooo! Look at little Nia!

That’s God too!
Friends, here’s my takeaway from this experience…
The enemy hates evangelism and will use many lies to keep you frozen in place.
The two biggest ones are: you are not equipped and people don’t want to hear your message!
Lie #1 You are not equipped.
Truth: You have the Spirit of the Living God inside of you! When you step ahead even if your knees are knocking, He will flow forth and put His Words on your tongue.

Lie #2 People don’t want to hear your message
Truth: People are hungry for hope, healing, and an encounter with the Living God.

And another lie: Evangelism is not for you..
Truth: We are all called to evangelize and share the gospel. Its part of the Great Commission and Jesus’s Last Words to His Disciples and all those who would believe their message.

A few tips for you!
1. Go with others. Being with another believer is not just safer, but biblical. Jesus sent the disciples out in pairs of two! You will sharpen eachother, learn from eachother, and help to make eachother bolder.
2. Pray up ahead of time and tell God this is for Him. Ask Holy Spirit to lead your feet, hands, and tongue. Ask Him to soften the hearts of those you would encounter and to send you the exact people that He has appointed that day!
3. Minister with the awareness that you are colaboring alongside of Holy Spirit and not of your own strength. Trust Him to show up. Trust Him to speak through you. Trsut Him to do miracles, signs, and wonders.
4. Be ready to face rejection, and know that it’s part of the assignment. Shake the dust off your shoes and keep going!
5. Just get out of the boat and do it!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Wowza! You inhabit the praises of your people! When we gather and lift your name on high and preach the gospel, You draw near! Lord, equip your people. LORD, OPEN our eyes and ears to Your Spirit and strengthen us to teach the gospel, to share our testimony, and to be BOLD for the Kingdom! May we carry out the FULL great commission without fear! In Jesus’s Name, Amen!
Blessings and Boldness!
