Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh NEW start!
And Jesus came to give those that feel hopeless, a fresh fill of hope.
Those that are outcasts, a place to belong.
Those that believe that they’ve sinned beyond repair, a new opportunity to walk in righteousness..
The sinner to become a saint!!!
How does this happen?
Supernaturally by receiving Jesus and all He died to give you!
He stood up to the religious leaders and the oppressive religious systems of the day and made a way for those who were completely unworthy to be made worthy!

He sat with the sinners and taught them that there was a better way and a better life available.
When people dined with Jesus, they didn’t remain in their sinful state. They often repented and walked in new life.
That’s why so often His sermons were about losing your life to gain it, and leaving the old way to receive the NEW.
He sat with those that religion had rejected and elevated them ABOVE the stubborn Pharisees who refused to receive revelation that He was the Messiah!
When the Pharisees complained, He told the parable of the lost sheep!

And then He told the parable of the lost coin, and how much rejoicing happens in heaven when one sinner repents!
Notice how much the woman searches! She even out in the night with a lamp. This shows that she doesn’t stop or give up even in the late hours of the night. And she searches and searches all the way until she find it!
In the same way, the Lord is pursuing every person to turn to Him and receive the truth.

And when she finds her coin, she celebrates with her friends and neighbors a huge celebration!
Jesus said that in the SAME WAY heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents!

And in case those two stories didn’t show the heart of the Father for each person who is lost and still sinning, Jesus teaches the parable of the prodigal son!
The boy leaves his father’s home, leaves the safety, leaves the provision, and leaves the ways he’s been taught to live.
He goes out and parties, wastes his entire inheritance, and has nothing left.
He remembers how well even the servants in his father’s home were treated.
He decides to head home and ask his father to make him a hired servant.
What he didn’t know was his father was watching for him. Looking for him and checking to see if he was coming home.
The Bible says even when he was far off, the father saw him and RAN to him with a hug and a kiss!!

Quick, hurry! We must celebrate! My child is home! My prayers have been answered!

And when the son who never left, gets angry, the father reminds him that he hasn’t lost anything. He has always remained, so he has a secure inheritance and all that the father has belongs to him!
The father is letting his son know that he is not losing anything by the return of his brother. There is only gain!
And the same us true whenever a brother or sister receives Christ!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for three back to back stories in scripture that reveal Your heart for the lost! You desire those that don’t know you to recieve! Those that are sinning to repent. Those that are blind to receive sight. Those that were followers but left for worldly desires to return back to holiness. Your desire is to bring the LOST home! Lord, this Christmas Season bring a GREAT harvest of prodigals HOME. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
Blessings!
Vanessa Lynn
