Good Morning Gorgeous, 

Its a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new day to rise and wait for Jesus. 

Wait. He’s worth it. 

Wait. He is moving. 

Wait. He will fill you. 

Wait. He will refresh you. 

Wait. He will deliver you. 

Wait. He will heal you. 

Wait. He will restore you. 

Wait. He will speak to you. 

Wait. He’s worth it. 

When is the last time you sat before the Lord and paused and waited on Him? 

Just declared, “Lord, I’m not moving from this posture until you tell me to. I will be silent in Your Presence and wait for Your glory to come and do what only You can do.” 

Waiting is uncomfortable.  

When we wait, we often start to think.. thoughts come rushing forward we may not want to face. 

Hurts surface we forgot about.

Fears come front and center. 

But what better place for those things to be revealed than in the Presence of the Lord?

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 

Yesterday was a full day of travel from Florida to California! 

By the time we went to sleep last night, we had been awake almost 24 hours. But our team couldn’t stop laughing. We have already experienced SO much joy even in the anticipation and waiting on God. 

We met up at 430AM Florida Time, 130AM California Time. And the anticipation, nervousness, weightiness of the assignment were all such strong feelings in the air. We knew we were all assigned to something bigger than ourselves.  We were traveling across the country trusting God is going to show up and touch every child. And we are expecting something, we can’t make happen, only the Living God can do it! 

There was a tension of we TRUST Him, and what if it doesn’t go as planned? 

A tension of we KNOW He’s faithful, and what if we get in the way? 

An unspoken tension of we’ve come along way across the nation, left our own children in the care of others, for these precious children in Turlock, California. Will He touch the children with a move like we are praying for?

Our desire is that they would be forever changed by His Presence. Those that need freedom will get it. Those that need comfort will receive. Those that need healing or are praying for a family member will be healed. That they would hear the voice of God, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and know they’ve encountered God! 

We want the children to meet Jesus face to face! When that happens, you’re never the same!! 

So here we are boarding the plane with excitement and anticipation of what is God going to do this week!! 

Then when we landed and stepped outside, it was COLD! Pastor Casey said, “We’ve left summer and stepped into winter!” 

We loaded up, prayed in our van, and we headed from San Jose to Turlock! 

Mountains everywhere on BOTH sides of the road. It was beautiful and we talked, listened to worship, and napped a little. 

We met with Alysia from Harvest Church and had an amazing meal of Mexican Food! 

And then as we were driving home and sharing how tired we all were, at this point it had been about 20 hours of being awake, we decided to stop and PRAY at the church. We were just going to pray in the parking lot for the kids, the leaders, the conference, whatever God led us to do…. 

We got the most beautiful surprise!! 

We were invited IN!! 

What an incredibe experience! 

The weightiness of the assignment was like tangible in the room. The kids sanctuary was beautiful and some of us began to cry. 

 There are clouds all over the children’s church.  We are believing for the glory of God to fill this house just like the glory cloud that led Israel!

We felt called to pray inside and as we began to pray, it was declared by one of us in prayer that we were standing on hallowed ground, so we took off our shoes. We pressed in and began to pray for the Lord to glorified. That we would shrink, we declared that we were putting ourselves on the altar as a living sacrifice. We asked the Lord to search our hearts and cleanse us of any and all iniquity, fear, wrong thinking, anything that would stand in the way of His Presence to be removed. We repented and just surrendered afresh over to His PLANS over ours. His WAY! And we prayed that we would be sensitive to His voice, obedient to the promptings, and direction of His Spirit. And then we had the honor of praying over the youth pastors of the church. And just love on them. Pastor Justin, Pastor Casey, and others from the team had prophetic Words to give to them and we just felt the Lord doing a work in EVERY one of us. HE was setting us right, purifying our hearts, our minds, and our motives.  And we felt His tangible PRESENCE! And then it happened…   All of the nervousness, fear, heaviness of performance, worry about our own strength LEFT the group and JOY broke out.

We began to laugh and we laughed the whole way back to the house. We laughed and laughed expressing the JOY of the Holy Spirit. As we drove home, the laughter continued. In the house, more laughter. Just JOY. And with 23 hours awake FILLED with His peace and joy we headed off to bed!

Now it’s Sunday morning! We are headed to church and we are expectant of what HE is going to do!

We are choosing to WAIT on Him today. We will wait and make space for His ministry. We will get out of His way and just  be willing to be uncomfortable in the not knowing and the unscripted. We have plans, and messages, and worship songs planned, but we are all prepared to back up and WAIT for HIM! To make every step. Every breath. Every decision all about HIM!

May God show up in your time with Him today! Pause and wait. He has secret things to reveal to you in the waiting.
