Holy Spirit Kids Conference Day 1

Good Morning Gorgeous,

Its a brand new day. A fresh new start.

A new day to rise and flee into the arms of Jesus.

It’s safe there.

It’s a shelter from the elements.

It’s home.

It’s healing.

It’s a solid rock, steady and secure.

Y’all, have you ever read the gospels and thought, “Why don’t we see miracles today like Jesus did?”

You may say…

I’ve never seen a blind eye open or a deaf ear begin to hear.

I’ve never seen a dead man come alive.

I’ve never witnessed cancer leave a body and leave the doctors baffled.

I’ve never seen a lame man walk again.

Serious question, to myself included…..

How many blind eyes have you prayed over? How many dead people have you commanded to live again?

James answered this question even before you asked it. He said, “You have not, because you ask not.” James

Your first response may be, but I have been praying for healing in this one area and it hasn’t happened yet.

I know and that hurts. The waiting is hard at times, lonely, and painful. Let’s give ourselves room to grieve the disappointment of prayers not yet answered while still CLINGING with faith to the Word that “If you lay hands on the sick, they will recover. Mark 16. Like even if our experience doesn’t match YET, keeeeep praying. Keep boldly stepping out. Keep enforcing the Word of the Lord and the example Jesus set. He said we would do GREATER miracles.

And “if anyone among you is sick, have the elders lay hands on them and anoint them with oil and they shall recover. For the fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.”

We are in California at a Holy Spirit Conference and we have been called here to support the children’s Holy Spirit Conference.

On this first day we felt so Expectant and excited for what God was going to do. We’ve made it a point in all of our planning meetings to choose to be sensitive to Holy Spirit and not cling to the schedule if He starts to move and touch the children. And about 1/2 way through the night, the schedule was abandoned and God began to do what only HE could do.

Day ONE was such a gentle, yet POWERFUL expression of the Lord’s Spirit and His heart for His children.

We saw the Lord touch child after child after child! And we saw physical healing! Emotional wounds being tenderly ministered to and identity being restored.

And the minister from our team who prayed for a girl to receive physical healing and SAW the girl be healed has been praying for her own family’s healing miracle. Imagine how her faith increased when the Holy Spirit’s healing power flowed through her hands to a child right before her eyes. And she had strong faith before! But we are MARKED when we participate in being used by the Lord. It changes you.

So even as she waits for her own miracle, she had faith to lay hands on the sick AND she got to witness and miracle before her eyes!

Miracles, signs, and wonders are part of the holy inheritance of the sons and daughters of God.

And its for our children too!

We are teaching the children to hear God’s voice for themselves.

To worship Him with abandon.

To surrender and be filled with His Spirit.

But, ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit that has been meeting with the children and teaching them by way of His Spirit!
