Here is our 2024 Christmas celebration in Pictures. 🙂
Our tree is decorated with crafts the kids have made through the years and also ornaments that have a family picture from each year all the way back to Ayden’s 1st Christmas. 18 year old tradition. We became vendors this year and attended several local craft fairs selling my books, apparel, scripture cards, and hats. We met so many amazing people! 1st year tradition. We traveled on Christmas Eve to visit my sister in Lake Okeechobee. She lives in Philadelphia, but was in for Christmas. 1st year doing this, not sure if it will become a tradition! We attended a Christmas Eve party with a very special family to us. This is our 2nd year attending and it’s a special time to rest and enjoy the calm before the festivities! The kids always get new Pajamas and a new blanket on Christmas Eve. Sometimes the jammies are all matching, but not always. This tradition is also 18 years old! We wrap the gifts in some creative way. One year it was snowmen, another year it was Santa Sacks. Last year, everyone got a new chair with their gifts stacked on top. This year it was large tote boxes..all the gifts inside were individually wrapped and then put in totes that we wrapped. As the kids opened their gifts, they had a place to store their things. This tradition is about 7 years old. Chuck read the Christmas story from Luke 2 before we opened gifts and then we prayed. 1st year of this tradition. Addy is our baker! She bakes cookies for about a month leading up to Christmas. This has been several years strong. Our elves! Addy has taken over staging them and she is so creative! Junior gets a fresh groom! The boys dress up for various school dress up days. 🙂 Bass PRO to shop and see Santa. This tradition is about 12 years strong!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!!!!
I LOVE this tradition! Sibling gift exchange. The kids drew their names out of a hat and bought very thoughtful gifts for eachother. 2nd year of this tradition. We followed sibling gift exchange with homemade Ramen
Two traditions not pictured are church on Christmas Eve and looking at Christmas lights. We usually do a scavenger hunt for various items when we look at Christmas lights.
Also, we have a large lighted nativity on our lawn and a smaller one indoors.
We try to keep Christ at the center of it all!
What’s your favorite Christmas tradition?
I would love to add a new one or two for next year!
Love the pics!
Thanks! We enjoyed Christmas and all the joy that comes with it!
What a lot of lovely traditions! Blessed 2025 to you all.x
