Is the waiting unbearable? Take ❤️!

Good Afternoon Child of the Most High God!

My posts rarely get published in the morning anymore.

I may work on that or I may just go ahead and greet you all with, “Good afternoon!”

Either way morning or night, God’s Word has something for you today.

God’s Word is life giving. Life sustaining. Life transforming.

And the MORE you get in it, soak in it, breathe it in like literal breath in your lungs, and dine on it, the MORE you will be both satisfied and yet hungry for it.

Every time you read a story of old, the Lord will reveal something FRESH and NEW, and His Holy Spirit will make it relevant to you.

So I am reading the Bible this year in this plan. Abide 365.

And when I re read the story of Noah, I saw something NEW to me.

Noah and the animals all got into the ark on the same day, and then……..nothing happened!

Day after day, they were in the ark and NO RAIN!

Did Noah hear God wrong? NO.

Did God change His Mind? NO.

For 7 days Noah’s whole family stayed INSIDE the ark with NO rain!

Wow! Wow! Wow!

What FAITH it took to stay in there.

Noah heard directly from the Lord, but his wife, sons, sons’ wives were there because they trusted Noah’s word that he heard from God rightly.

Just soak in this. Imagine the scene. Don’t speed over it lest you might miss the precious lessons and great encouragement in it.

They stayed in the ship. Even. When. It made. NO. Sense in the natural world.

They stayed in a boat full of animals for 7 days before the Lord sent the rain upon the earth!

And what’s even more wild to ponder…. it possibly had never rained upon the earth before. Prior to the flood, most likely the earth was watered by a mist that came up similar to a tropical rain forest. Imagine misty fog.

So Noah built an ark on a Word from God even though he most likely looked crazy for decades as he built it. Imagine the laughter of the people. The mocking.

No one had seen rain and Noah spent what would be one of our lifetimes building a boat without any idea what it meant that God was going to send rain.

And THEN when he obeyed and got his whole family inside the ark, NOTHING happened!

Do you feel this way?

Have you obeyed a Word and not seen anything happen yet?

Are you living righteously for the Lord and being mocked by others?

Are you moving by His voice even though you have NO idea what the Lord is up to?

Yep! So was Noah!

And the Lord carried out every Word just like He said He would.

And He will for you too!

Also, consider the book of Revelation! Jesus will carry out all of it even of it seems like nothing is happening right now.

The Lord will make it happen at just the right time. At the appointed hour.

So child of the MOST High God! Take ❤️!

Encourage your soul!

He who began this work in you will carry it out ALL the way!

Even if you haven’t seen a single sign yet, His Word is enough.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the Word. Thank You for Noah and his family moving in obedience. Thank you for preserving humanity and sparing us. Thank You that You are returning in full glory for your bride. May we be found being about the Father’s Business building for the Kingdom! May we keeeep going in the direction You’re calling. IN Jesus’s Name, Amen.
