Good Afternoon Child of the Most High God,
42 when I finally realized I had a choice.
You always have a choice.
Despite your circumstances.
Despite the lack.
Despite the fear.
Despite the insecurities.
Despite the wrongs done against you.
Despite the current perception of the way things are,
You always have a choice.
You can choose to set your sights upon the Living God despite the giants.
You can choose to boldly go forth when your knees are knocking.
You can choose to tune your ears up to the voice of the Lord amidst the noise.
You can choose to follow God into NEW uncharted waters.
You can choose BOLD steps.
You can choose forward movement.
If we are not careful and mindful of what God is doing in our lives, we can MISS it because it doesn’t look like what we imagined.
So often we play safe. We play when we know the outcome. We make decisions based on what other people are doing or what other people say to do. And we make agreements with status quo over the individual path the Lord has us on.
➡️And somewhere along my journey, I bought the lie that I had to FINISH out a 30 year career that no longer served my family.
❌️A career I once loved, but no longer felt quite right.
❌️It no longer fit our needs, yet I made no effort to find another way.
❌️I believed I had to finish my 30 years, collect my pension check, and rest easy.
Problem was…. my kids needed me NOW, not in 10 more years.
❤️I felt the pull to be home.
❤️I felt the deep desire to become a full time author.
❤️I knew God had something else in store for me.
I JUST DIDN’T know how to get there.

I’m HOME.
I’ve published 3 books in 8 months.
I’m creating online content and making money in my PJs while I homeschool my daughter.
All because I said YES to the Lord to build what HE called me to build even when it made no sense in the natural!
Noah build the ark on a Word.
Abraham moved on a Word.
Isaac shifted on a Word.
Jacob was marked and physically changed through and encounter with the Lord.
Sis, if you only take ONE thing from this post, grab THIS! You’re NEVER stuck. You always have a choice.
Fleeeeee to the Throneroom of grace. Spend time with the Lord. Be in the Word. Worship Him. Lean in close. And when He gives Holy instructions, be ready to obey radically!
Your destiny in God may not look like everyone else’s and that’s beautiful thing!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Please protect your child reading this from any path that YOU have not set for them. Lord, may they hear YOU, be sensitive to Your Holy Spirit and what directions you are giving in this hour. Protect them from unwise counsel. And just as you had Noah build, enter, and exit on a Word, may we also do the SAME with our lives. To speak only what YOU’RE speaking and move only when You say. In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
