Good Morning Child of the Most High God,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start!
And God is up to something brand new!
He is always moving us ahead, forward, up, and through..
With Jesus, you’ll never remain the same. This walk is so beautiful because there are treasures all along the way. This life is never stagnant, old, or boring. Unless we’ve stopped following the leading of Holy Spirit.
When we are brave and bold to listen for Holy Instructions, we will experience continual growth and quite an adventure as He teaches us new revelations and guides into new terrain. It’s bumpy, wild, sometimes slow and steady, sometimes full speed ahead, but always forward.
Look at creation, nothing stays still for long. Not the ocean, the waves, the plants, the cycles of life. Even things that appear still such as dirt and rocks are actually moving, shifting, and changing.
God has created us to become brand new creations when we receive Him as Lord and Savior.
And then He desires us to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
He wants us to be brand new vessels that carry something for others. New wineskins carrying new wine. A type they haven’t tasted before.
Check out my old bench that Chuck is preparing me to send to the curb. He has mentioned a time or two lately that it’s time is up. It’s old and worn and not the prettiest looking bench anymore.

🩵Taught Bible Study From this bench.
🩵Cried with women around my table while sitting on this bench.
🩵Prayed to the Father for a miracle while holding Nia and sitting on this bench.
🩵Junior has been perching on this bench since he was a puppy.
You could say I’m fond of this worn out old bench, and yet its time for something new.
When God desires to bring us to a new season, we think of all the beauty in the OLD season.
We think of the victories, the comforts, and the traditions.
And we try to hold on.
Tightly
Just as I didn’t want to get rid of the bench, I also didn’t want to start a new Instagram last week.
I liked my old one. The problem was I had started it so long ago that the algorithm was confused about who I served.
I needed a fresh start to make it clear on that Instagram page that I serve Christian Business Owners.
I started the NEW account and it’s been amazing. The account is growing. I’m getting connected with the right people this time because I started serving Christian Business Owners right away.
Why do I share this?
Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is release something that no longer fits us.
To close the door on an old season.
To leave an old assignment.
To let go of something we once used for comfort.
And to
Walk through NEW open doors
To start a new assignment
To lean on the Lord as our source of strength and comfort
Where is God calling you to something NEW today?
Dear Lord,
Show us the New paths you are calling us to. Show us where we are being called forward. What is to be left behind and what is to be picked up? Give us strength to let go of what no longer serves us in this season..
