Good Afternoon Child of the Most High God,

There is a new trend circling around Instagram with how old you are and some vulnerable truths about you.

Before I share in an Instagram reel,

I’ve decided to share mine here first….

Why share anyway?

Sometimes being brave enough to drop the masks and be vulnerable can be just what someone else needs to hear to connect, to feel seen, to know they are not the only one with struggles or battle wounds.

Anything I share has either been touched and healed by Jesus or is an area where breakthrough is coming!

Sooo…. I am 43 years old and I am not afraid to admit:

1. In 2014, I went through a divorce and I believed my life was over. I literally felt like I was being consumed by grief and thought I was dying. I laid every loss and every dream at the feet of Jesus, and He stepped in and redeemed me from ashes.
2. I am still in shock sometimes at the testimonies of God’s goodness in my life. When I retell the miracles of my children and how I came to be a momma of five children my own faith is strengthened.
3. Two of my children are biological and three are adopted. I forgot which ones are which.  😘
4. I am remarried and my husband has 4 adult children meaning our blended family has 9 children and 5 grandchildren. 
5. I would love to have another baby. We’ve been hoping for four years, but it hasn’t happened yet.
6. Last year, I resigned from a 20 year teaching career in obedience to the Lord. This was a hard decision, but I’ve never looked back! I am so thankful for the opportunity to build a business from home and homeschool our youngest.
7. When I am writing a book, it’s all consuming and I can hardly focus on anything else but delivering the book in my belly.
8. Digital Marketing has changed my life. It’s opened all kinds of exciting doors and pushed the limits of what I believed I was capable of.
9. I worry almost daily if I am a good mom.
10. I am working on my biggest project yet right now…..and it’s gonna be amazing!
