Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new opportunity to believe that all of God’s promises are really for you and He means them. As we look into the Word of God and we read the beautiful promises of God, sometimes its hard to fully grasp that they are for US and that they will prevail over every earthy circumstance. Also, if God has placed a personal promise for you on your heart, you can be sure that He will carry it out to completion. His promises can be counted on. You can cling onto the promises of God and they can anchor you in rough waters. They can keep you steady through the winds of life. As you struggle, you can speak truth into the atmosphere around you. You can say in the midst of struggle:
“The Lord will never leave me..Never forsake me.”
“God’s love for me is forever…His love endures forever.”
“God’s love for me is unfailing….He is there through ALL things.
“No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”
“If God is for me, who can be against.”
“If I have faith like a mustard seed, I can say to the mountain move, and it will be cast into the sea.”
These are only a few of Gods promises. They are not even the tip of the iceberg of His promises over you and for you. We are covered in the promises of the Lord. Yet. Sometimes we struggle to walk as people who are sealed in promise. We magnify the struggle and minify the promise, and then we are left feeling defeated, hurt, and weak. If we can mentally zoom out of the struggles right in front of us, and get to a higher perspective where we magnify the promise, then the daily struggles are put into perspective. They begin to appear smaller and less daunting. We serve a God who keeps His promises. He will deliver you from what is raging against you in this season, and He will care for you. He will help you to step into your next season. Keep your eyes on the promise and the promise maker. He can be counted on to keep His words.
Hebrews 6:15-20:
Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.
Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding.
God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie.
Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 6:15-20
