Christmas Story Day 4 Peace? Now with so much to do?

Good Morning Gorgeous,

Its a brand new day. A fresh start. May peace be with you today. The peace that surpasses all understanding. Peace that doesn’t make any sense because you have it even when things are chaotic, busy, or going all wrong. Peace no matter the situation.. Peace no matter the weather. Peace regardless of season, situation, or outcome. That’s the peace I pray for you today. The peace that comes from within your heart because Jesus remains in control and you can trust Him. I pray that you would experience the peace He brings which is like no other peace. Its a peace that cannot be explained or fully understood. Its a peace that guards our hearts and doesn’t allow us to be moved by external bad news. Even though life may at times spin out of control and things seem to be raging against us, inside there is a calm and peace like the eye of the storm. That peace cannot be achieved through any other means than time in the Presence of Jesus. He can bring a raging storm right to calm, lapping waves. He can speak one word to your heart and the rising, raging sea of thoughts, worries, and endless to-do lists will quiet down their racket and you will find rest.

Jesus Christ came to earth to save us from our sins. To be our spotless lamb once and for all. He is our redeemer, our savior, our king, the messiah, the fulfillment of God’s promises, our intercessor, our healer, our all in all, our everything.

He came for our salvation, but He also ministered every gift we would ever need through the Holy Spirit. We now have access to gifts of peace, healing, wisdom, daily conversations with God, and a multitude more.

In just the first few chapters of Luke, ordinary people from all walks of life are saying Amazing, Beautiful things about Jesus. They are speaking of Who He Is and What He Will Do. We get to read it in hindsight 2000 years later, and they were all correct in their prophecies over baby Jesus. Yet, in that moment so close to the action, they could have only known those things by experiencing the Holy Spirit. This Christmas Season, I am reveling in our Jesus. He is who He says He is. He is our Lord and our Savior, and He is the Prince of Peace. Let His peace invade your heart today. If you don’t yet feel peace in this season, ask for it. Pray for a new level of peace that you have never experienced before. If you would like, feel free to message me and I will pray for you.

Jesus promises.. “Ask and You will receive.” If he can heal blind men, bring back the dead to life, and return the severed ear of His enemy to wholeness, He is ABLE to answer our prayers and HE WILL provide peace that surpasses all understanding.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Peace. Peace. Peace. Sometimes it feels like we are on the teacups ride at Disney. Things spin and move faster than we can possibly keep up. We come to you this morning and pray for Your peace to take over our hearts and quiet our minds. Where fear, anxious thoughts, and worry are running through our mind, let Your peace quiet the mind, slow the thoughts, and fill the heart. Lord, we pray for an abundance of peace. Peace that is so great, we cannot explain it and we know it must be from You.

In Jesus name, Amen
