There is purpose even in the wilderness.

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new chance to walk in the path that God has set for you. A new fresh day for you to walk out your destiny.

I am going to keep sharing what I am learning from these Isarelites in Exodus because its goooood stuff!

Moses is living in the wilderness with all of Gods people who have been delivered from slavery, but they haven’t yet crossed into the promised land. They are delivered, free, and in Gods will, but not yet receiving the full inheritance. They still have some lessons to learn before they cross into their promised land. That could be us too. You may be walking in the will of God, freed from what used to hold you captive, but frustrated because you haven’t yet moved from where you feel stuck into what God has promised you.

Take heart, He is with you. He is preparing you, equipping you, speaking to you, and strengthening you so that when you come upon your promise, you are able to possess it. You are able to move into what God has set apart just for you.

He is working alot of things out of the Israelites and He is working other things into them. They are learning to trust in His provision, to listen to His instructions, to obey Him even when it doesn’t make sense to their rational mind.

All of this, and He hasn’t even issued the 10 commandments yet! He is teaching and guiding them gently as they are ready for the next thing. He will do the same for you. He will enlighten you to an area of your life that you need deliverance from. He will work it out with you as you obey Him and walk free. He will give you something far better than whatever He has asked you to release..And then He repeats the process all over again. We are continually in the process of growing, learning, healing, and being prepared for the next thing God has for us.

God is working on the Israelites in the wilderness and if you feel like you are walking through a wilderness in your life, God may be up to something.. our wilderness may be something tangible we are struggling with like a relationship with someone or a job that feels like we are wandering in circles, and every time we turn a corner we are right back where we started. Or our wilderness could be something we are struggling with emotionally. Something that we recieve some breakthrough, turn a corner, and we are still in the wilderness.

God was with the Israelites every moment in the desert. He is with you too. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. He will provide for you each day the manna and quail that you need. He may not give you enough to store up yet, instead He may be teaching you to lean on Him, talk to Him, trust in Him, and to be able to hear His voice. He loves you dearly and He has a promised land just for you. He wants to deliver you to all that is prepared for you. Just keep your eyes on Him. Seek Him with all of your heart, and you will find Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you! Thank you that You care deeply about our emotional and physical needs. Thank you that you are working on us in our own personal wildernesses so that we have strong hands and healthy hearts to pick up and accept the promises in store for us. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

I pray that this blesses you today!
