Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new day to choose to stand on the truth of God’s Word as your strong foundation.

We have a choice to make each day, each moment to decide if we will view our current situation through earthly eyes that can only see what is happening in the natural OR if we will choose to view our situations with a Heavenly perspective rooted in the Word of God.

Even people who are not walking in faith recognize the power of our perception. Having a positive outlook is valued in our society as having some impact on our happiness. Viewing the glass as “half full rather than half empty” or choosing to view things through “rose colored glasses”.

I challenge you as a believer in Christ to take it a step further than that, but to view everything you experience through the truth of God’s Word. Instead of perceiving with your natural senses, we can retrain ourselves to return again and again to the Words of God and begin to view the world with, “Truth filtered lenses”.

So when we face job loss or uncertainty, instead of worrying about provision, we begin to declare what the bible says:

My God Shall Supply All that I need. He cares for the birds of the air and the wildflowers with lavish attention, and He will provide for me as well.

When we doubt our own ability to do what He is calling us to do, instead of focusing on our limitations, we can declare:

My God’s grace is sufficient for me. He has prepared me ahead of time for all that He plans for me. I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.

When we are feeling anxious, experiencing racing thoughts and worries, we can turn to the Word of God and declare:

I have the right to a peaceful and sound mind. I will take captive every thought and choose to think about things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— I will think about such things.

When disaster strikes, and the storm waters rise,

I will run to my Lord as my strong tower. I will allow Christ to keep me in perfect peace. The peace that surpasses all understanding and is not easily taken from me based on circumstances.

When the stakes are high and a friend is in need,

I will trust that when we pray God hears and moves. I will choose to trust God at His Word that when 2 or more gather in his name, He will be there. I will pray bold prayers over my friends for healing, strength, renewed vision, and the provision of heaven on earth.

Viewing all that the world throws at us through what God says rather than what we feel, see, or experience in the natural has the power to shift everything. Our declarations of the truth of God’s Word shifts and changes the atmosphere around us. Be bold and take God at His Word. Begin to view what you face today through what He says about it. Choose to boldly declare God’s truth to every struggle, every stronghold, every mountain, and every worry.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Equip us with Truth filtered lenses. Help us to begin to view all that we see and experience through the filter of what You say about it rather than our own understanding. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
