Grace over Condemnation

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. It’s a fresh start. You can rise today to a brand new beginning. Every day that we wake up is a new chance to let the Lord’s Grace triumph in your life.

Today at 8:10 am, my original post for today was half done. I am one hour behind in my daily schedule. And the very beginning of condemning thoughts try to weasel their way into my mind. I have boarded this train too many times. My ticket is worn and well used.

But I am getting stronger and more grounded in truth. Grace wins today!

I believe that some days I fight a spiritual battle at times when it comes to rising in the early morning.

The early morning is when my home is silent and the Lord can speak to my heart. I feel His Presence when I deliberately make space and time to be with Him. And in the early hours before dawn, I pray, read my bible, and write. I believe there is power released from heaven during my time with Jesus.

And I also believe there is a real enemy of our souls who would want to stop that time from happening. If the enemy can cause me to shorten this valuable time with Jesus or even stop it all together, he will fight for that because of the strength and power of the prayers of a believer. Our prayers have extreme power to heal, bind up darkness, and bring heaven’s order to the earth’s chaos.

So the fight for me to rise at my normal 5am has been a real struggle. My spirit desires to get up and into the Presence of my Lord, and yet I fail at times.

And the moment I fail and my day starts to slip behind in schedule the enemy is right there to taunt me with his nasty lies.

They are quite yucky too, but today I recognized the voice because it was completely counter to the truth of God’s Word.

God truth says:

My grace is sufficient for you.

My strength is made perfect in weakness.

Whatever is true, noble, and praiseworthy, meditate on those things.

My peace I leave with you.

Peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am more than a conqueror in Christ.

So regardless of the percieved failure this morning, I will stay grounded in the truth today.

I will put on praise and worship music while I work.

I will pray throughout the day

I speak the truth of God’s Word right into the lies.

And tomorrow, the Lord will give me a new chance to triumph over the battle to rise early with Him.

In the meantime, there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.

The Lord is not angry with me, nor is He angry with you.

The Lord is not condemning me, nor is He condemning you.

The Lord is not punishing me, nor is He punishing you.

The Lord’s language to His children is love. He will show up every time you call on Him. He will strengthen you for the fight. He will battle on your behalf. He will pick you up, brush off your knees, speak life and love into you, and put you right back on the path that leads to Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Fill your people with the strength. Help us to fight every spiritual battle until we are TOTALLY victorious. Lord, draw us close and prepare us for every assignment you have given to us. Let us proceed ahead filled with courage and boldness to take ground for the kingdom! Turn deaf ears to You. Open blind eyes. Let the hearts of people be open to recieving You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
