Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new day to rise and move as an anointed child following the Living God who is King Of the Whole World.
He is a patient King who is calling His creation to Himself. He desires that all of creation will turn from their wicked ways and call on His name to be saved. He has already completed the sacrifice needed to make a way, a direct path to the Father.
Nothing stands in our way other than our own free will. And, for those of us that follow Jesus already, there is a daily choice to follow Him in every arena of our life.
A daily choice to follow Him in the workplace.
A daily choice to follow Him as you lead your home.
A daily choice to follow Him in your finances.
A daily choice to follow Him as you parent your children.
A daily choice to follow Him as you forgive those who deeply hurt you.
A daily choice to follow Him in your recreation and your friendships.
Are you following Him in every part of your daily comings and goings?
Are there any parts that are still in the darkness and His healing light hasn’t been invited in?
An old hurt that you are clinging to?
A destructive behavior?
A negative thought pattern?
The beautiful part is there is no condemnation or guilt or shame being heaped upon you. Only an offering to step ahead into the light and receive the fullness of Christ in those areas.
He desires to be your Lord in every area, every relationship, every struggle, and every joy.
For many years, my prayer was, “Lord, come and shine Your light in every area of my heart. Come and move furniture. Come and get into the dusty corners, turn over tables, and leave no dark corners. Lord, come and infiltrate every area of my heart and my life.”
And because of those prayers, God faithfully did what I asked. I was filled with dark areas. I had alot of hurt and pain in my heart and also outward behaviors that needed His touch. And He gently did what I asked of Him. And He is still working on me. It’s a continual process of sanctification. I will be in process my whole life.
My prayers lately have been ones of total surrender.
” Lord, I give it all to You. I surrender to Your Lordship in every area.”
When we truly surrender it all, God comes and does mighty and miraculous things in us and through us.
The enemy will lie and tell you to keep certain parts for yourself. He will try to get you to keep parts of your heart or your life untouched by Jesus. He will tell you that you’re fine. You’ve got it together. You are already good enough. You don’t need to go any farther in your faith. There’s no need to go deeper. Why take the next step? You don’t want to become one of those weird christians. You want to keep parts of your old life and they aren’t hurting anyone, so what’s the big deal?
The big deal is these are all lies to keep you from full freedom and full fruitfulness.
Wherever each of us are right now, God still has more.
The more you submit and surrender, the more your life will represent Jesus in the earth.
He will prune you, and mold you, and shape you and make you strong and fruit bearing.
But, any branches you withhold from Him, he will not forcefully prune. Those branches will remain unfruitful and barren.
So, lay it down. Your whole life. Offer it up to the King today. He will faithfully touch every area that has been shielded from Him. He will cleanse and heal. He will break chains and set you free.
And to stay healed and set free, it’s a daily choice to stay surrendered to His will over ours.
So as I rise today, I will say afresh, “Not my will Lord, but Yours. I give You everything I have. There is nothing held back from You. Come and be my King in every area of my life. Let every word I speak today honor You. Let every step I take be in the direction You are calling. Let my Hands be ready to do kingdom business today. I am Yours Lord. Do as You wish. Use me today as Your Holy subject, submitted and surrendered to Your Kingship. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
“Wherever each of us are right now, God still has more.” What an exciting thing to think about on Monday morning!! This is going to be a GREAT week…I can feel it!!!
Yes! I pray your week was fruitful and filled with moments in His Presence.
It was, thanks.
This was so nice to read and to remind myself that there still is light through Him. Sometimes I feel as if Jesus is being stripped from our country. And we are being forced to be quiet out of fear. Love you cousin. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
Hi my beautiful cousin!!! Yes, there is still light through him! I pray to keep our boldness and courage in Him and not be silenced out of fear. Glad this encouraged you. I think about you often! Love you too!
