Hey Gorgeous Friends!
This day we woke up in a Cracker Barrel parking lot in New Mexico.
The night before we purchased tickets to ride the skytram up to the top of Sandia Peak.
We got up and dressed warmly because it can be up to 30 degrees cooler at the top of the mountain, and drove to Sandia Peak. We waited in line, and even from the line, the views were breathtaking.
Next, we boarded the tram and rode through the sky to the top where it dropped us off!
When we got off of the tram, we went for a hike on the mountain! It was by far one of the best tourist things that we did on the trip. The views were amazing and our family loves nature. Brycen took on his full cowboy persona and led the way as if he had been working in these mountains for years.
After our hike, Chuck and Addy found more of what the kids call “wishing flowers” and they took turns blowing on it. They both wished for the same thing. They want to hike together on the Appalachian trail.

After looking around a bit more at God’s Creative Artwork, we boarded the tram and headed back off the mountain.
We had tacos for dinner and that’s a wrap on Day 16!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Seeing Your Creative Works reminds me what an amazing God you are. You paint in FULL color. You pay attention to every detail. You make beauty at every turn. You have so many surprises in store for those who love you and place their trust in You. Thank You Lord! I stand in awe of You! May we learn to slow down and soak in the beauty of Your Creation. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
Blessings!
Vanessa Lynn
