Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start. A new day to rise and stand protected under the banner of the Lord.

Jesus came as the visible manifestation of the Living God. Now mankind could see Him and walk with Him and talk with Him. They could hear His voice and hang onto His every Word. They could ask Him burning questions. They could allow Him to heal them with a touch or a Word.
And He had encouragement for us and the battles that we would face.
He said, “In this world, you will have trouble. Take heart, I have overcome the world.”
In the Old Testament, Moses is given victory in the battle against the Amalekites, but in the New Testament Jesus declares that HE HAS overcome the WHOLE world!!! And we get to walk in His victory.

In another verse He tells us that greater is the One on the inside of us, than he who is the adversary.
And the SAME God that revealed Himself as Jehovah Nissi to Moses in battle ALSO revealed Himself as Jesus Christ and walked among His people.
And today, Jesus is our banner, our protector. We can call on His Name day or night. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. He has promised that when we pray in His name, miracles would manifest and mountains could be cast into the sea.
Through the lifting up of Jesus, we are able to access victory just like Moses did in the wilderness against the Amalekites as he lifted up his arms with the rod of God.

Jesus IS our Banner to be lifted high and shown to all who see us.
What does it look like to access the Lord’s promise to be our banner, our protection?
It looks like a posture of worship. Magnifying the name of Jesus in all situations, through all things, and in all things.
It looks like trusting Jesus no matter the storm or the battlefield.
It looks like crying out, “Lord, you are my only hope in this situation. I trust You no matter what. I trust You. I trust You.”
It looks like looking your mountain in the eye, and telling it how big your God is. Speaking the name of Jesus and His mighty power right to the darkness.
It may sound like:
“My Lord goes before and me, and He is mighty in battle. He fights all of my battles and He will hold me up with His Righteous Right Hand. He will not allow me to be defeated. He is holding me up strong and steady. It’s by the Power of Jesus that I can rise today and keep going. It’s by the Power of Jesus that all of my enemies have been defeated. It’s by the Power of Christ that I can walk in victory proclaiming Christ as Lord over my life.”
As you speak like that lifting up Jesus as your banner, demons have to flee. Your peace is restored and you have the strength to keep going.

The Holy Spirit comes and raises your arms up like Aaron and Hur did for Moses and gives you strength to keep going until FULL victory is established.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for coming to save us! Thank You for being our banner, our protection, our safe place, our refuge, our place of rest, our Shepherd, our Messiah, our Victory. Help us to keep lifting you up again and again even when we are weary. Give us strength to continually depend on Your strength and not our own. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings to you, Vanessa. x
Thank you!
