Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start!
7 days until Christmas!!!!
Jesus hears your prayers. He has heard your cries for help and He has collected every tear.
Help is on the way!
Jesus teaches us to pray and keep on praying.
To believe and keep on believing.
There is breakthrough in remaining steadfast through every season!
Stay the course, eyes on Jesus, continually making your petitions known.
And Jesus taught that when you cry out to Him, He will hear you and render a just judgement.
He told the story of a very persistent widow who would just not give up on her case. She came and repeatedly brought her case before the Lord. Again and again. Over and over until the judge who was neither a just man NOR a man who feared the Lord, rendered a judgement that was fair and just.
And Jesus said, learn a lesson from this woman and this unfair judge!
If this man would deliver a fair judgement because of her persistence, how much more will God surely deliver justice!
Luke 18:6-7 NLT
[6] Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. [7] Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
It reminds me of a similar lesson where Jesus says if you earthly fathers know how to give good gifts to your children, how much MORE will the Lord pour out His Holy Spirit on those who ask!
Even if you prayed and prayed. Persist in prayer. God hears and He is moving.

And the other story that I want to highlight in this chapter is the blind man who cried out for Jesus to heal him.
He was sooo loud that the crowd was telling him to be quiet. Instead he yelled louder and Jesus took notice.
Luke 18:39 NLT
[39] “Be quiet!” the people in front yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
He asked the man, “What do you want?”
The man said that he wanted to see.

Jesus said, “Alright. Your faith has healed you. ”
All the crying out.
All the wailing.
All the persisting for his miracle.
It. All. Paid. Off!
And whatever the need is, cry out. Persistent. Quit caring what others think of you as you contend for your miracle breakthrough!
The man would. Not. Be quiet!
No matter what the people said!
He wouldn’t be quiet and neither should you!

May I encourage you, don’t stop praying, contending, and remaining steadfast as you wait for your miracle!!
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lean in today and are willing to believe again! Based on these two parables our persistence pays off!! We receive the lessons You are teaching. We receive the hope you are depositing in us in this hour! WE WILL NOT STOP BELIEVING that our miracle is on the horizon. Lord, we trust You and we will wait on You. May we experience suddenly moments this Christmas!
In Jesus’s Name, Amen.
