Good Morning Gorgeous!
It’s a brand new day. A fresh new start!
A new day to run to Jesus and be revived.
He has what You need today. He can breathe NEW life into every dry area.
And there is ACCESS now to the Father. JESUS tore the veil that separated people from God.
What appeared to be the darkest moment in history actually was the fulfillment of a plan made before the foundation of the world.
And the earth responds to Jesus. When He was born a star rose in the sky and when He breathed His last, the sky went dark! Even though it was midday, darkness came upon the land.
The Lord Himself had made home among His people. And they rejected Him.
The Lord Himself had healed them, delivered them, and fed them. Yet they asked for a sign.
The Lord Himself taught how the scriptures led to Him as Savior. Yet they refused His saving.
The Lord Himself clothed Himself in flesh to become visible and touchable for His creation, and they refused to believe in a God they could see.
The Lord Himself drew near to His people to show them how to access the Kingdom of Heaven, and those who knew the scriptures best yelled, “Crucify Him.”
He laid down His life.
He became the Passover Lamb, and was crucified on Passover.
Death would now Passover anyone who would call on the Name of Jesus.
Including a thief on the cross next to Jesus.
Even in His final moments on earth Jesus was shaking up system.
Who was the first to die on earth and not feel the sting of death? Who was the first to literally pass from death to paradise?
Jesus gave salvation to the thief on the cross who confessed his faith in Jesus by simply saying, “Remember me” and Jesus said, “Today, you will be with me in Paradise.”
This man who was surely deserving of death may have been the first to die with his salvation assured! And not because He deserved it! But because JESUS made a way!
And He made a way for you and me too!
Anyone who calls on the Name Jesus shall be saved!
And because of His sacrifice, the veil is torn. There was a thick curtain like a heavy tapestry that was covering the Holy of the holies where the high priest would go once a year after the sacrifice and the cleansing ceremony, and the manifest Presence of God would meet with the High Priest once per year behind the veil.
When Jesus took His last earthly breath, the veil TORE in half from top to bottom!
No more separation!
No more sin in the way!
The Lord, completely blemish free and completely innocent paid the penalty.
And we now have ACCESS!
Access granted, authority given, and eternity secure!!!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You Lord for what ONLY YOU could do!!! You paid the price. You were rejected, hated, and crucified and we are received, loved, and made whole! Wow, as we celebrate Your birth, may we also remember that Your birth was the beginning of fulfillment of all the prophecies! Your birth is promises kept! You are a faithful God who makes a way in the darkness.
