Good Morning Gorgeous,
It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. Sometimes we wake up and it doesn’t feel like a fresh dawn. It feels like we carried everything over from yesterday. Some mornings instead of waking up feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to tackle the day, we may wake up heavy, burdened, and feeling anxious. Sometimes, when I wake up it feels like there are bricks on my chest. It’s those mornings especially when we have to lean into the promises of God. Remember our toolbox of strategies and weapons.
God’s mercies are NEW every morning. This is a fresh new day awaiting you and there is grace for each moment. God’s equipping you, so that you are prepared for anything that comes your way, and the favor of God is on your side.
God’s promises are true for you on the days when you feel it and when you don’t.
Speak your Affirmations or I am statements. Stand up tall. Rise up, and keep your eyes steadfast on Jesus.
On the rough days where the darkness creeps in or the waters are rough or the path is rocky, or when the pressure is on and coming from all directions, don’t look at anything but Jesus.
Look at Him as if you were walking a balance beam and He is coaching you along. Don’t look at the crowds of people. Don’t look too far ahead, and definitely don’t look backwards. Just at Jesus. Eyes fixed on Jesus. Eye to eye. Listen to Him whisper the instructions. Listen to Him speak. Watch where He leads, move at the pace He moves, breathe deep, keep walking.
You Gorgeous girl are a beloved daughter of the King of the World. Your status as His royal daughter doesn’t change with your feelings. Even when you wake up and it feels like nothing is new, nothing changed, the new sunrise reminds you that a new dawn brings new hope. A new dawn reminds us that God’s mercy is abundant. Every day, He has fresh mercy, grace, anointing equipping, empowering, healing, revelation, provision. Whatever you woke up needing this morning, He has it available for you. Cry out to Him, pour your heart out to Him, or even whisper it to Him. He knows and He hears.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Some days are easy, breezy and our inner feelings align to what You say about us. We feel loved, cared for, cherished, and totally equipped for the day. Other days are haaaaard. We wake up questioning, wondering, doubting if we have what it takes for the day ahead. Lord, please pour into us exactly what each of us needs this very day in this moment. Give comfort, peace to racing hearts, equipping for what lies ahead, revelation for what needs to be done and where to go, discernment to recognize your voice and wisdom to obey.
In Jesus’s name, Amen.
