Grace Wins: Empowering Grace

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new day. A fresh start. A new dawn has driven away darkness. It has clothed the day with its sweet light. Today is a new opportunity to accept and steward the power that you have full access to as a saved follower of Jesus Christ. You Gorgeous girl are filled with power. The power of the Lord is inside of you. You are able to withstand the storm. You are able to rise out of the trenches. You are able to get up and get out of the clutches of the darkness. You are empowered to speak life into your situation and expect to see breakthrough. You are able to overcome the adversity rising up against you. You are able to stand taller than the tide. You will prevail and no weapon formed against you will prosper.

How can I claim these things? When you are a saved follower of Jesus Christ, forgiven and set free, you have a rich inheritance as a son or daughter of the king. And many people mistake their inheritance as access to heaven only. Yes, salvation in Jesus does grant you a resurrected life with Him in heaven, and that is a glorious, beautiful inheritance that we cannot even comprehend its splendor. Friends, it ALSO means access to an inheritance right now. When Jesus resides on the inside of you, you are a powerful force. Empowered to live a whole new life according to God’s will and accessing heaven’s power can become a reality. The Lord wants you to be able to access His empowering grace which is available to believers. You are SAVED, FORGIVEN, and EMPOWERED.

Salvation grace grants you access to a relationship with God covered with forgiving grace, and ALSO empowers you to live in the earth differently than before. You are a brand new creation in Christ Jesus.

And when you accepted Christ, you received a new status, and you were granted access to Heavenly Power. You became a co-heir with Christ.

You were granted access to the same power available to Jesus as He walked the earth. Just like Jesus walked in communion with the Father empowered by the Holy Spirit, you also have access to the Father and the Holy Spirt. When Jesus sacrificed Himself, He tore down the veil separating us from right relationship with the Father. And when He ascended to Heaven, He sent Holy Spirit to inhabit the people who believed in Him.

The SAME miracle happens today and empowers the believers of Christ to not just be forgiven of sin, but to ALSO be empowered to live and move about the earth different than before. You are an empowered child of the living God seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus.

Since we have Jesus living on the inside of us and access to the Holy Spirit, then we can also react to sin, destructive thinking, painful patterns, and temptation in the same manner with the SAME authority that Jesus had here on earth!!

Important Reminders:

1. JESUS lives INSIDE of YOU. You are a chosen, valuable, worthy, child of the living God. That fact alone causes me to stand up a little taller, square out my shoulders, and desire to live a life that displays His truths spoken over me.

2. Your salvation empowers you to react to sin and other situations just as He did.

We have been given a new way to move and live in the earth, and the POWER we will need to live in a way that is counter cultural. A way that looks different and actually sets you apart unto God rather than the world.

3. Your relationship with Jesus makes you a co-heir with Christ and have full access to Him as our High Priest. Your position as an heir with Christ sets you in a position of power accessed by grace through faith. You have grace to help you in your time of need JUST like Jesus did in the wilderness.

4. We can learn from His model reaction to sin. Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and knows what it feels like. He denied the enemy’s lies verbally and replaced them with truth. The enemy lost all power when faced with the bold truth of scripture. Something powerful happens when we speak scripture into our situations and straight in the face of temptation.

We can access our power through rebuking evil and speaking truth over our lives. There is power in your tongue.

The Power of God’s word spoken aloud by His Creation, which is you, has the creative power to

  • turn tides
  • open doors
  • slam shut temptation
  • send the enemy packing
  • open eyes and ears
  • bring healing
  • pull down strongholds
  • stop destructive patterns
  • and ultimately release you to freedom to live a bold, empowered life.

When it feels like you are pressed in all sides, you have the authority and power to speak boldly to the struggle, boldly to the lie, boldly to the addiction, boldly to the temptation.

When God formed the earth, He spoke it into existence. His words have the power to create an entire universe, and when Jesus walked the earth and faced temptation in the wilderness, He SPOKE. He declared God’s word. Not just once, or twice, but three times He spoke before the enemy left. The enemy came to Jesus when He was alone, in the wilderness, and hungry. Yet, He had just been baptized and was filled with the Holy Spirit. He was walking the earth fully human and yet fully God, empowered by Holy Spirit. He declared the truth of God’s word aloud in the face of temptation and after three declarations, the enemy fled and angels came and ministered to Him. We are created in the image of God, and as believers in Jesus Christ, we have the Holy Spirit which means our words have power too!

Friends, when struggle is all around you. When temptation is pressing you against a wall. When you have a need of any kind, SPEAK. Speak the truth of scripture aloud and into the atmosphere. You are a powerful force and your words are soaked in power. You may have to rise up and speak truth more than once. Jesus did. He spoke three times before the enemy fled. You may have to be persistent. Don’t stop. Don’t give up. Speak and keep speaking. What do we speak?

The truth of God’s word. The promises in the bible are for you. You can depend on them. You can speak them aloud and trust that they have the power to move the enemy out of your face. Our spoken words are power. You are powerful and what you say can change your situation, can stop the enemy, can open your eyes, lift up your head, clear out confusion, and allow you to stand tall in the middle of adversity. Rise up child of God and declare that:

  • I am an empowered child of the living God.
  • His promises are for me. I am worthy of every inheritance He has stored up for me.
  • I am able to access Heaven’s power even as my feet are on the earth.
  • My voice can cause mountains to move and demons to flee.
  • No weapon formed against me can prosper.
  • I can boldly approach the throne of God in my time of need and find grace and mercy.
  • I can approach God for help because the bible calls me a co-heir with Jesus.

Today I encourage you to speak a few favorite bible verses out loud. Speak them with authority and claim them as promises written for you. I pray that as the people of God speak His word, things shift in the earth and His purposes prevail in our lives.

And in addition to speaking scripture and declaring God’s truth over your life, you can boldly approach the throne of God in prayer and ask for what you need. Since He went before us, and He was tempted and knows our struggles, He promises to be available to help us in our hour of need. We can come to Him and receive mercy and grace.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:14‭-‬16

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for empowering Your people with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the rich and abundant inheritance You have so lavishly given to us through Your Grace. Thank You for access to Heaven’s power even as we walk in the earth. Teach us how to access it and how to steward it to further advance the kingdom of God. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings!

Vanessa Lynn
