I put my Trust in You

Good Morning Gorgeous,

It’s a brand new say. A fresh start. I woke up tiiiiired this morning. Really tired. The kinda tired where you are unsure how you will muster the strength to rise. But, the beautiful part, you do.

You do muster the strength. You do rise. You do move even when its hard. You do put feet to the floor, and choose to move your feet in anticipation that soon the weariness will lift. Soon it will be replaced with joy and gratitude for another day.

The verse of the day is…

When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.

Such a simple truth, short and sweet and to the point. Yet it takes great inner strength to choose again and again to trust in Jesus.

To trust when nothing has shifted yet.

To trust when we have been hurt by life.

To trust when we have been disappointed.

To trust when the lies of the enemy bombard us.

To trust that in all situations, in all things, at all moments, the Lord is working together all things for good for those who love Him.

I have shared this before… when I was in the lowest valley, I would simply pray, “I trust You.” I would grip my steering wheel and with tears streaming down my face I would just pray those three words again and again. “I trust You. I trust You l. I trust You.” I would say it until peace relaced my fears. I would say it until something shifted in me. I would say it until an ember of faith was lit. Those three words would fan the tiny spark until it burned inside of my spirit warm and strong: “I trust You.”

As I spoke those words and declared the truth, any lie that I was believing had to flee. Any doubt in how big My God was and that He would move was replaced with rising trust and assurance.

Trust would grow, fear would shrink.
Lies would be replaced with truth.

Again and again and again, let’s trust in Jesus. When fear shows up, we can shut it down with the declarations of our tongue.

I trust in Jesus.

When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Jesus.

God has good plans for me. He has plans to prosper me and give me a hope and a future.

God will strengthen me with His victorious right Hand.

If God is for me, what can possibly stand against me?

God is in control, and I choose to rest in Him..

Declare the truth of God’s word and His promises again and again until trust rises and fear shrinks.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your beautiful Word that You have given to us filled with Your promises. Thank You for the love that You have so generously poured into us. Thank You for being a good, good Father that we can trust. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
