Grateful for the Things Unseen

Happy Thanksgiving Gorgeous!

Today is a brand new day. A fresh new start!

This Thanksgiving I have a new appreciation and gratefulness for the things unseen.

So often we talk about the unseen battles of the spiritual world and we focus on the darkness and principalities that war against us.

And those battles are very much real, but today, I choose to feast my eyes on the unseen blessings of the spiritual world!

I am thankful for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ that saved me and redeemed me!

I am thankful for the gift of a Holy inheritance that makes me a citizen of the kingdom of heaven and also gives me access to Holy Spirit power here whole my feet are on earth.

I am thankful for faith that keeps my eyes on Jesus even when the storms of life are raging.

I am thankful for hope that keeps light breaking forth even in the dark.

I am thankful for the love of God that is so wide and deep and strong that nothing can separate me from it.

I am so thankful for every spiritual blessing.

And finally, this beautiful verse from 2 Corinthians:

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
II Corinthians 9:10‭-‬15 NKJV

Friends, God has abundantly and beautifully blessed us richly with every spiritual blessing. He has not withheld anything from His people.

May we come to Him today as we gather and remember how good He has been and continues to be to us who put our trust in Christ Jesus!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am continually in awe of you. I am blown away by your goodness and how much you love Your people. May we continue to seek Your ways in all we do. May we continue to enter Your gates with Thanksgiving and Praise.

In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Blessings to each of you!

Vanessa Lynn
